Skies, Digger and Bathroom

A sunny beginning to the day - our cherry tree looked good against the blue sky.
Looking the other way was not quite so promising. I had planned to go off to Westonbirt in the van with Bella but got sidetracked by the skies clouding over, and a need to take up half of the bathroom floor to deal with a mysterious leak (hopefully now resolved by the mighty Twdor).
Later, I took Bella out locally to be rewarded with some big skies and great cloud formations.
Another house nearby with a digger in the front garden - we'll see what this excavation turns into as we walk by over the next few weeks.
Blue skies and sunshine - but the sun drops quickly at this time of year.
The best was yet to come.
Back home in the garden, some big rose hips.
The last of these big leaves curling at the edges.
This day a year ago, we'd been to the Little Theatre to see "We Need To Talk About Kevin" the night before.
