Sunshine & Mezzes

Another bright start to the day, with an interesting cloud formation at the back of the house.
Clear bright sunrise at the front of the house.
The view from bed with a cup of coffee and a piece of Su's yummy baklava to sample for first instalment of breakfast.
Later on we went up to the racecourse with Bella.
Passed this collection of golf buggies at the back of the Nineteenth Hole of the Golf Club.
Don't ever recall seeing a shadow like an ECG trace before.
A new installation by the side of the racetrack had this interesting logo on the ends of the barriers.
Looking over towards Dundry and the sun.
These posts have been deprived of their cross pieces, and look a little lost without them.
Back to the car, and a lovely light by the Blathwayt Arms pub sign.
At home, rather stylish balloons on next door's garden gate.
Tonight we have had neighbours round for a mezze supper, so apologies for the late posting of tonight's blog.

This day a year ago, the weather had changed from sunny to wet. I celebrated finishing the marking I had been doing for UWE by posting one of my panoramic constructions from the day before.
