Blackbirds, Bees and Bread

Yesterday evening, I watched this blackbird happily munching the berries off our mahonia, aka "false grape".
Great skies last night, before we were treated to electrical storms all around us later on.
Just before sunset.
We were up and about early this morning (still on Greek time) and at the farmer's market buying lovely organic produce from the Community Farm stall. On the way home after breakfast at the Secret Garden Cafe, spotted this structure (sponsored by local business IronArt) being erected on a roundabout
Stopped on the London Road and looked in at this newly refurbished pub - not open at 10 a.m.as they advertised. Maybe too late a night with their gig last night?:-)
Back home, spotted happy bees on these astrantia flowers in our back garden
Workman's van with an unusual decoration…
Su has been cooking up a storm today - here is her baking output for the day. Yum!!
This day a year ago, we enjoyed the sudden arrival of foxgloves - these spotted in Clevedon.
