Symi Skies & Views

After yesterday's "light rain" in the afternoon, the sheet lightning and very noisy storm last night, Pedi bay looked silvery and calm this morning.
This blew in to visit.
Interesting cloud formations.
The day brightened up and got a bit warmer.
Went to the Olive Tree to admire their views and the clarity of Turkey from that perspective.
Stencilled on the wall of the former bar opposite - not for sale any more!
Clouds in the West mean rain, we were told - looking towards the Vigla was not promising, but the rain has (so far) held off. The weather is set to get drier and warmer from tomorrow with temperatures set to get above 30ÂșC soon.
Turkey was really clear by late afternoon.
A privileged goat in the field below us - some of them have much less shade and scrubbier grazing.
Late evening sun on the valley with just a hint of rainbow to the left of the valley.
This day a year ago, we travelled from Molivos in the north of Lesbos down the East coast and then across to the Gulf of Geras and round the south of the island into Mitilini. On the way, we passed this positively Monet-ish pasture
