The Mercury Rises on Symi

Yesterday evening, the skies cleared from the West
While to the East, Turkey looked really gloomy
Pretty skies a little later.
Today after a cloudy start, the temperatures have started to climb...
The Vigla was clear of clouds by the time we went out for a walk.
Soon to be grapes …
This donkey didn't like the look of us at all.
The still-unfinished sports hall.  Wonder if it will ever be completed? Opposite a dog barked a greeting - it was Lulu outside Mel and Paul's house (we'd wondered which was theirs). They invited us in for a tour of their lovely place.
After that we carried on walking up the hill - this is the Horio towards the Kastro from the road.
Towards the windmills
Walked past Sevasti studios, where we stayed last (very hot) July. Evidence of the Easter bunny still on this door.
The perils of building work in the Horio - diggers can only go so far before steps stop them getting any further.
A narrow alley. After a hot descent, we stopped at the Rainbow for a cool beer before heading back to the apartment for a late lunch, and a siesta on my part.
This day a year ago, we were reacquainting ourselves with Pedi Bay - saw the old cake shop sign was still there.
