A short blog today as I have been a little preoccupied - with getting ready to go to Symi tomorrow! The day started with a deluge - rain coming down like stair rods as people say in Yorkshire. The cloud was so low and thick that I couldn't even see the other side of the valley.
Went down to buy a paper and walk Bella through the rain (with her coat on) - burst out laughing at this juxtaposition of headline and picture/.
Took Bella off for her holiday in the kennels while we're away (our house-sitters, who arrive tomorrow, are the ones who aren't particularly dog-friendly. On the way home, spotted this unusual personalised numberplate.
Out later on on an errand, stopped to admire the organic lawn mowers in front of Lansdowne Crescent
It looked as though the weather was clearing up - but t was not to be as the rain has been on and off for the rest of the day. I don't mind, I'll be on Rhodes tomorrow evening and meeting up with Su! Symi on Monday morning!!!!
This day a year ago, we walked to Nimborio and stopped at St George's church to admire the view down the bay.
