A lovely bright and fresh morning, as shown by this view across to Little Solsbury.
I'd parked the van in a shady, unsunny spot - found this thick covering of ice on the windscreen before I could drive it to get some fuel for the day's trip.
We took off for Brean beach, where we were greeted by this view.

This day a year ago, we stayed in Alcester and I was up the brightest and early (the best it got all day) to take Bella for a walk.
