Sunshine, Cows and Trees

Woke to bright skies and brilliant sunshine.
Our cherry is now almost completely covered in blossom.
We took advantage of the good weather and went up to Westonbirt, where the cows were out and quite frisky.
.
Flags flying over piles of planks of various woods harvested from the trees grown here.
These beech twigs had an unusual curve to them - a bit like antlers, I thought.
A lovely carpet of oak leaves.
My eyes were drawn to the combination of colours on these trees in the distance.
The "Knock on Wood" statue.
This ash is still growing, despite the holes in its trunk.
Nice big fungus on this old tree stump.
"Stop me and buy one".
The cafe at Westonbirt with its living roof.
This day a year ago, it was a very wet day - so the best photographs of the day were these of raindrops dripping from a shed roof.
