Culinary Explorations and a Warmer House

A mixed morning - some blue skies and a tinge of colour to the clouds.
Out with Bella, spotted yet another helicopter flying over - we seem to get a lot of scrutiny these days.
High winds and heavy rains last night led to this car being festooned with leaves.
Found this hoodie on the grass at the bottom of the road, and hung it up to dry - maybe the owner will return to claim it.
I spent most of the day at home being domestic. I made falafel for the first time. We had a visit from our heating engineer, who has coaxed our central heating into working - at least for tonight…
And I tried my hand at pitta bread for the first time as well. The dough rose, which was a promising sign!
The final product for tea - it seemed to go down all right…
This day a year ago, I took Bella up to Charlcombe churchyard and admired this lichen on an apple tree.
When We Were Young(er) in 2005 we were aboard the Proteus waiting to sail from Rhodes to Symi for our first visit to the Rock.
