Lots of Skies and Battenburg Cake

Last night's sunset gave us a brooding sky at the top of the street.
Looking down the road, the setting sun lit up the hills opposite.
At the back of the house, the clouds were lit up.
This morning, the sunrise brightened up the sky for another day.
Walked down to the doctor's to get my knee looked at finally, after being a bloke about it for too long. On the way, I was struck by these clouds.
More clouds.
Fortified by some treatment for my knee, I finished off the last of the kitchen floor this morning and then painted the ceiling in the back room. The view was unremittingly white.
Su painted the wooden wall in the back room and then made her first ever Battenburg cake. It tastes delicious - she should go into production!
This evening, the skies provided this unusual pattern.
This day last year, spotted this unfurling sunflower in a neighbour's garden.
