Catching Up, Van Back, Open Mic and Kitchen Floor

Out with Bella yesterday morning, found this unusual item on a gate post.
We went over to Kingswood at lunchtime, going via Lansdown and passing the Hare and Hounds pub.
Deepest Kingswood, as economically challenged as ever, afforded us this view of "Hair and Bety" shop front.
Our destination - the M.A.D. workshop to pick up the newly remodelled van (a future blog will feature the changes they have wrought). In the process we have gained a side window and had some remedial bodywork done, with more to come in the Autumn.
They mainly work on VW vans - but not exclusively!
Back home, Su turned the grape, apple and rosemary juice into jelly - like the colour change that happened with this process.
My afternoon was taken up by grouting most of the kitchen floor before we headed off out to Bristol for an open mic night at the Golden Lion (no time to do a blog post). Left At The Lights may not be the jolliest of bands, but we were the liveliest there last night! Saw this amazing sky trail all the way across to Bristol.
Today I was off to the dentist first thing before meeting up with Su for breakfast and returning to more grouting of the kitchen floor. A bit of finishing off this evening should see the job done - when we can begin to reassemble the kitchen. Came home via Green Park in the sunshine.
Because I missed publishing yesterday's blog we have two catch up items. This day a year and a day ago, the van was once again in the back of a trailer - this time all the way from Birmingham where we had gone to visit Ben & Lena.
This day a year ago, Su dropped me down into town to go and but a proper hard case for my guitar, which I was considering risking in the hold of an Easyjey flight.
