Balconies, Surfeit of Boats and Bespoke Transport

Another sunny morning looking down the Pedi valley to see Turkey in the distance through the haze.
Caught the bus down into Yialos and  did a bit of shopping. Passed this transport on the way - must be for the rich yachting fraternity (not the likes of us hoi polloi!).
Hibiscus in the town square.
A grand balcony on the building next to the Town Hall.
Popped in to see Debby at her shop and then met up with George at Evoi Evan for coffee - and later a spot of lunch.
After an hour or two chewing the fat and putting the world to rights, George set off back home and we popped in to see Clare before wandering slowly up the harbour. I was taken with this balcony above the Pharmacy.
I was also taken with their window display - I can't envisage Boot's selling seahorse sculptures and classical busts somehow.
Lots of Turkish boats in the harbour today - apparently it is a two-day holiday in Turkey, so lots of visitors.
We were entertained by a sudden influx of boats, and their antics at getting parked sending the Morring Man into a bit of a state.
Many masts - the wind had come up out at sea, so these boats had sought the safe harbour of Yialos.
Unfortunately, this will be the last time we see the sun setting on the Pedi valley till next Spring (booked our flights back next April this morning).
This day a year ago, we left Symi for Rhodes after nearly four weeks here. We'd already planned our return:-) - there's a pattern here!
