Rainy Day, Doorknockers and Zebra Striped Bike

After the brilliant blue skies of the last week or so, we woke up to cloudy ones.
Windy with some sun poking through at times early on.
Looking out the back of our apartment towards the unfinished sports hall, great examples of Symi shed construction.
There were a few spits of rain but not enough to deter us from a bit of a ramble around the Chorio. Spotted this community laundry facility on the street.
Great door knocker…
…outside the Two Fishes, where some copyrighted individuals we know have been staying.
Middle of the day, and this was as bright as the sun got.
Caught a sneak view into this courtyard with its bougainvillea.
Narrow alleyways a speciality.
How do you tell the time when the sun doesn't put in an appearance?
Not sure about this as a name for a scooter…
I was taken by this doorknocker as well.
Interesting way to display your jewellery wares - hang 'em high!
The skies darkened some more and we had some thunder and lightning and a bit more rain.
Su went for another walk and we rendezvoused at the Rainbow, having to take shelter inside when the rain started again. Once it cleared, we wandered round a bit more of the Chorio with lightning and distant thunder sounding off.  The skies put on a bit of a show.
Unusual decoration for this motorbike.
This day a year ago we had eaten at Tholos the night before, then we went to Toli beach (which this is a view of as we left at the end of the afternoon) before wandering down to Pedi to visit Tolis taverna - confusing or what?!
