Quiet Day at St Nicholas Beach

Went out last night just as other guests were coming back after their evening out:-). Bumped into Penny & George and ended up going first to the Secret Garden (which had some Greek music) and then on to the  Sunrise Kafeneion. As a result, we were really quite late to bed so our lovely Pedi view was seen a bit earlier than we would have ideally wished.
Went out, stopping to fuss the cute little kitten, Dinky, on the way.
Walked down the road to Pedi. Su saw this ducting as art.
What do you do with old tables on Symi? Use them on a building site, obviously. What for exactly, I'm not sure…
Another boat stored inland - this one in a builder's yard.
Down at Pedi bay, the sea was flat calm.
On our way out to St Nicholas beach.
Straight ahead!
They were cleaning all the umbrella coverings with a power hose and drying them out in front of the taverna, which is now serving salads and omelettes only (and drinks) as the season draws to a close.
Naked umbrellas on a very quiet beach - probably about 20 people in total there today.
Over lunch, we watched this couple eating theirs under cover - it takes all sorts!
Waiting for the taxi boat back to Pedi. Tonight we're back at the Sunrise Kafeneion, where it's my last session playing with George and Clare this trip.
This day a year ago, we were up by the windmills and the Pontikastro, looking down over Yialos harbour in the afternoon sunshine.
