Jazz and Theodolites

Went to see Gilad Atzmon and the Orient House Ensemble at the Chapel Arts Centre last night. Nice to be there with table and candles rather than sitting in rows as they often lay out the venue. Splendid music indeed - alll the musicians were superb, although could have done without some of Gilad's patter…
We'd managed to get a parking space on Milsom Street, so an opportunity to try out my new phone's camera in street light. Lots to play with still, as I have to see how the flash performs.
Out with Bella this morning, noticed these long dead buddleia flowers still giving colour, shape and structure to the plant.
At UWE today in between classes, I was entertained by these surveying students practising their theodolite technique.
This day a year ago, it was sunny and the snow hadn't thawed. We went to Westonbirt with Bella for a cold but beautiful walk - she enjoyed it too!
