Wet Trees, Chair Making and Steam Fair

Rain and cloudy skies this morning - undeterred we set of to Westonbirt, where we appreciated the curvature of the new visitor centre.
Up periscopes !
Not quite sure what this sign was telling us to do, so I tried to obey it…
We headed this way
Sound engineers in the woods?
The charcoal burners loaded up and ready for another overnight session.
Big leaves with Su's hand for scale (although she pointed out that's not much help unless you know how big her hands are!)
The chair makers at work on the second day of their six-day course, after which they each will have made their own chair.
One of the many informative signs - I had one of these false fruits for breakfast…
Out for a short walk with Bella later this afternoon, the bees were all over this lavender.
We went down into town and parked in Victoria Park, passing this big poster for the steam fair as we walked into town.
Our destination was the Little Theatre, where we saw Finding Vivian Maier - mixed feelings about the film and the motives behind it. Good photographs though.
Walking back through the park to the car, I admired these decorations.
This day a year ago, I started disassembling the van interior to begin the process of making it more suitable for our requirements
