Off To Shrewsbury and Back via Hope

Today started dry - a big improvement on yesterday, and no need to dislodge puddles from the roof of the awning. Still cloudy, but the landscape was more visible than of late.
Re-pitched the awning so that I could drive away and leave it secure. Then it was off up to Shrewsbury to pick up Su from the rather Gothic train station.
This is overlooked by Shrewsbury Castle.
Drove back towards Snead, stopping off at the Car Park of Hope Village Hall to have some lunch before heading back towards the campsite. Not long after we arrived, Robin and Jean returned from their outing along with their collie Bryn who was much happier after a long walk.
Then the skies started to brighten.
It was warm and sunny for the rest of the afternoon.
It was time for Robin to break out the barbecue and for sausages, burgers etc. to be cooked. We had a lovely evening (hence the late posting of this blog)
Forecast for tomorrow is mixed, so not sure what we will be doing. Check back to find out:-)!
