Roaming round East Bristol

Out with Bella this morning, I was taken by the delicate colour of these potentilla flowers.
Early leaf fall on this corner also happened last year - but even earlier in the month.
The light this morning caught this plant to good effect.
Clear blue skies.
The pub at the end of the road is looking quite dilapidated.
Took the van over to Kingswood for them to sort out the new seating/bed area and a few other internal bits. The blue skies had disappeared by then.
I love their name - Su calls them "Mad Men":-)!
After that, we went off to the Trading Post. How can you resist a place with such a stunning display of garden ornaments?
Inside the main store area is as crowded and eclectic as ever.
We went for a coffee in their cafe, - I sat in one of these demonically themed chairs.
After this, I succumbed to a dose of lergi and took to my bed, so haven't seen much of the day since then.

This day last year, on the way back from Wales the clutch on the van gave out in Stroud. Su managed to pull into this pub's car park where we waited for the recovery van to rescue us.
