Films, Flowers and Plaques

Last night's sunset was lovely, as the clouds came in.
Another view of the sky
Solsbury Hill at sunset.
This morning at the Park & Ride car park.
We went down to the Little Theatre to see Looking for Hortense - a most enjoyable film.
Coming home, we found Monty (our neighbour's cat) asleep in our front garden. He wisely moved off before Bella came out to greet us.
Our phlox flowers have come out.
This clematis continues to flower.
This clematis has lots more flowers to come - we counted 10 buds in addition to these flowers.
Bees at work on our veronica.
Our grape vine continues to thrive - loads of fruit ripening on it.
Lots of helicopter activity over our part of Bath this afternoon
Back down the hill, parking in Victoria Park.  On the walk into town, saw this sticker on a van.
Good name for a building.
Passed the Theatre Royal.
We went back to the Little Theatre again to see Like Someone in Love, directed by Abbas Kiarostami.  Found it extremely slow moving and unengaging, so left well before the end. On the way back to the car, passed this plaque in Queen's Square - I didn't even know there'd been a Prince of Wales called Frederick in the 1970s.
Another plaque in the park to mark the end of WWII.
Lovely light through the trees in the park.
This day last year, to coincide with the Perseid meteor shower (just like this year) the clouds came over - unlike this year it rained quite heavily.
