One Day Heatwave

Today we have been enjoying the effects of a "Spanish plume" on our weather - with clear blue skies and high temperatures. Unfortunately, it's not set to last so we'll be back to sunshine and showers for the foreseeable future. We celebrated the plume by going down to Alice Park this morning, letting Bella have an outing before it got too warm.
Lovely new growth on this pine tree.
Silvery pine cones on this tree.
Bella was keen to explore the park, but it soon got too hot for her.
Came home, and Su said that we could do with a table in our garden now that it is getting sorted.  I surprised her - and myself - by setting to and producing this artisinal bespoke item in a few hours.
The skies were lovely.
Bella came out and wanted me to throw her ball for her.
I was struck by the artiness of this hose (maybe I was just a bit hot:-)!)
.
This day a year ago, we saw our first michaelmas daisies of the year.
