Bright Start, Nailsea Interlude and Fireworks Sign

Looking out of the back of the house this morning, I saw a golden glow across the valley.
Looking eastwards, the skies were also promising.
The sun shining over Bathampton HIll.
Our winter-flowering cherry looking resplendent in the sunshine.
Went over to Nailsea to celebrate Bob Lang's 60th birthday with a lunch at the Golden Horse Chinese restaurant followed by a spot of playing music.
On a short constitutional walk afterwards, saw this excellently named shop sign.
This day a year ago, I was teaching at Kaplan College on UWE campus on a very gloomy day.
