Back to work..........

So glad to be back in the garden. This pic is not mine but where I work. Taken in June last year, it shows an abundance which is not evident at the moment but it won't be long before there will be flowers everywhere......and me sneezing! Spent a few hours pruning back the clematis and tidying up other climbers.  There are about 15 of these in this garden. There are three long borders (about 50ft). You can see two of them in this pic but it doesn't show how wide they are (between 5 and 7 ft). Will spend another few hours getting them shipshape and then over the road to the allotment to  start early planting in the raised beds.

After a lovely lunch of artichoke soup and a cheesy toasty concoction, it was time to carry to start teaching again. If you have an iPad you will know how easy it is to use especially if you're used to computers. If you haven't a clue how one works and you're impaired by lack of dexterity and concentration then it's a real challenge to learn how to use one.  But we're getting there.  I sound like every teacher I've ever had......"go and do your homework". Does she listen? Does she heck.........
