Music and Flowers

Off to UWE this morning to meet up with Bob and Frank for a practice. We managed a couple of hours working on some new songs.  All we need to do now is get out and play them!
Came home to a sunnier and warmer afternoon than I'd expected. Went out with Bella and enjoyed the blue skies over Solsbury Hill.
The flowers continue to do very well, as these roses spotted in a hedgerow demonstrate
Irises looking happy.
Cornflowers coming on.
Honeysuckle.
Su came home with this giant pot which will house our climbing hydrangea, now we've managed to get it into the back garden.
In the back garden the plants are doing very well. This is one of our new clematises.
Here is another, settling in nicely.
These gunnera-like plants have thrown out tall flower spikes.
Another new addition - one of two snapdragons with lovely old-fasioned colours.
These geraniums have spread very well.
Nice to see these blue ones coming out.
Astrantia under the tree.
A different variety.
Our acer is now well and truly rooted and doing very well.
Our not rosa rugosa continues to bloom prolifically.
This day a year ago, the rain had returned. The plants enjoyed it a lot more than the humans.
