A snuffly night, but woke up able to breathe this morning - a state of affairs that lasted until lunchtime and has thankfully returned this evening. Out with Bella this morning, spotted this gnomic design on the pavement.
It was a gentle morning with a slight cool easterly wind, but very pleasant in the sun.
This pine cone in the middle of the road came from no obvious source.
More primroses popping up.
A dismantled rockery in this skip
We went over to Nailsea to see Richard and Barbara for lunch - and delicious it was too!
Afterwards we managed a stroll with Bella a little way out onto the moor
Just the place to find balloons!
On the way back, we passed the Moorend Spout, apparently named after a local spring.
On the way home through woods on the way to the airport. Starting to get excited thinking about airports, as we will be flying out of Gatwick bound for Symi three weeks on Wednesday!
This day a year ago I began to to dismantle our unloved decking, which we inherited when we bought the house.
