Shops, Fence, Bees and Skies

Out this morning on Walcot Street - I waited in the car on the lookout for traffic wardens while Su popped into Harvest, Bath's excellent wholefood shop.
On the way home, noticed this old example of an advert painting - lots of examples still about in Bath.
The afternoon has been taken up with fence building - still not finished, but definite progress being made:-)!
Out with Bella for a shortish walk (it was still quite hot for her) saw lots of bumble bees happily feeding on privet flowers.
Teazle flowers attracting lots of very small flies into the tiny flowers.
Further on, this flower attracted a lot of attention from the bees as well.
A garage actually used for storing a car!
I managed to resist the temptation of these free books - but only just!
Great skies on the way back up the hill to home - loved the rays of light from behind the cloud.
Sunset skies were lovely.
This day a year ago, we went down to Victoria Park to see our neighbours take off for their oft-delayed balloon flight
