Another Sunny Day in Cornwall

Played some music last night into the sunset with our next door neighbour on the camp site, Robert - he is a banjo player, so lots of tunes I didn't know!
We were up and off early this morning, off to Rock and then off to Trevone Bay outside Padstow. Went for a walk along the coast path to see tamarisks blooming (reminded me of Symi).
Great examples of walling skills on display.
Su pointed out these snails sheltering from the sun under a fence cross-piece.
Benches all lined up waiting for the multitudes…
We managed a paddle (Su even went in for a near-total immersion).
We were really taken by this frillly blue beach umbrella.
Came back to the camp site and hung out by the pool talking to Sandy and Rob - one of the bar staff even came out and asked us if we would like a drink. Heaven!
This day a year ago was our last full day on Symi, and we caught the bus down to Pedi bay to go to St Nick's beach for the day. The way back up was more fraught as the bus broke down during the day - luckily we managed to hitch a lift back up the hill to our studio!
