The clocks went forward last night, so we'll enjoy more daylight for the next 7 months or so. Up early enough to see a lovely dawn.

The view from the front of the house - the sun has moved round so that it is now shines at the back of the house at the start of the day.
Su was given these pretty anenomes the other day - they showed off their colours in the sunlight.
After some domestic chores (I worked on getting the bathroom floor ready for new tiles, while Su gave the front door a sanding down and undercoat), we went for a walk - this way.
The end of this house name has come away (it should be "Croft End" - on Croft Road).
First walked down into Larkhall for a mooch about. Because the roads were so empty, I managed to get a photograph of this display above what is now the chemist.

Passed the garage where the van is languishing - waiting for a part to arrive so that it can once again be roadworthy (and ready for its Mot test).
Decided not to come back up the hill, but to stay out longer - it's been warmer than of late and we enjoyed being in the sun without an Arctic blast.

This day a year ago, the sun didn't shine for the first day in weeks. Still enjoyed the blossom out everywhere.
