En Route To A Heatwave!

An early blog post today, as we are heading for the airport this afternoon to catch our plane to Rhodes. Tomorrow is forecast to be 40ºC there, so it will be quite a contrast to the weather here. That said, today has been bright and sunny most of the morning.
Took Bella for a good stomp this morning - new weed flowers have com out.
Although it has been sunny most of the morning, some ominous clouds still threatened us on our walk.
 Pretty blossom on Charlcombe Way.
Thistles coming out in the fields.
The fields are really high with grasses, umbellifers and other plants. Just as well it has been wet - don't want it catch fire like it did a few Summers ago.
The dammed stream has now been reconfigured - easier for human walkers, but not as much fun for dogs!
This day a year ago, Su posted about some favourite places - this one included, showing Manoli's boat at Nimborio. If it's not too hot, we might even manage to get round there in the next week. Whatever happens, I'll be blogging from Rhodes and Symi for the next week - sending lots of sunshine and heat rays back to the cold UK!
