Jubilee Tuesday

A second Bank Holiday - and the weather reverted to standard form for such occasions.  It wasn't actually raining when I went out with Bella this morning, so I was able to stop and admire some of the flowers, including these dog roses.
This foxglove is reaching for the sky.
A very happy bee in a blackberry flower
A rare site - a garage used for storing a car.
Not sure of the name of these flowers - a bright splash on a grey day.
After a day inside researching iBooks Author and other desk-based activities, went out with Su and Bella in the drizzle. Lovely grasses with buttercups.
Bedraggled Union Jacks in a hedge.
Rather more distinguished flags on the front of this Georgian cottage.
A refreshing sign to see - it is more usual to see "No Turning" signs in driveways!
A white wisteria.
This day a year ago, we celebrated the end of my marking with a visit to Dynasty for dim sum (this is a recurring pattern!).  In the shop downstairs, came across this product - the mind boggles!
