Dentist, Walking and Synopsis Workshop

A dry morning with hints of blue skies and sunshine, which we got later on. Our neighbour's sweet peas are in full flow now, and smell lovely to boot.
A casualty of a collision?
An abandoned hat to add to the lost clothing photo album.
I rang up the dentist to make an appointment, expecting to have to wait some weeks to be seen. I was told if I could be there in half an hour they could see me! On the way, passed this old building with original painted sign fading away.
This afternoon, we took Bella for a walk up at Primrose Woods. We had a seat on a newly installed bench when this jolly crew came along and told us the story behind it after we took their photograph.
It turns out that they were all runners and friends of Dan Booth, who the bench commemorates. Today was the first anniversary of his death, and they were running 25 miles around 10 trigonometry points on the Bath skyline to mark the occasion.
Perfect new growth on this tree.
This evening I went down into town, pausing to notice a second Jaguar parked on our street. What with the BMWs and Mercedes, we are definitely the lower end of the market with our vehicles!
Solsbury Hill looked great in the late afternoon sunshine.
A discarded child's shoe - another one for the clothes album…
 Bath skyline from Camden Crescent.
Lansdown looked good in the sunlight - such a treat after we've seen so little of it since we've been back from Greece.
I went to a Synopsis Workshop organised by Jude and Alex of Writing Events Bath. A good session with Kathryn and Ayisha from Cornerstones Consultancy in London. Lots of food for thought. Walked back up the hill and caught this sunset at the top.
A bit later, the sky went pink - hopefully a good omen for tomorrow's weather?
This day a year ago, Su noted the cold rain that set in, went to the tip and celebrated the purchase of two one-way tickets to Istanbul for October. She also put up this picture of a knitted bridge we'd seen at Quenington the day before.
