Another day on the move.......

..........a beautiful misty morning giving promise of a fine day.....

Which it certainly has been. And a perfect day to get things done. Started by getting car down to garage for another go at diagnosing an electrical fault. Fortunately I didn't get charged for this as for the second time their machine can't read my car's feelings....it must be a bloke!  Popped into the co-op to stock up on essentials and then home for a very late breakfast. The chimney sweep was busy doing his thing with his brushes so I made toast and coffee and retired outside with the paper.....for half an hour only as had to get to work.  Today was apple collection and storage followed by clearing bed of spinach that had gone to seed.
Had time for brief chat with lady of the house and her other gardener who's off to India for 6 weeks (not together) thus missing Christmas in the UK and all the other jolly things that happen each winter here! (I'm being ironic in case you didn't notice!). Back home to give Marcus a lift to dentist.....

.....and long drive down to Taunton (on the A361 for nerd readers) to buy an awning for the new van.  This is an essential piece of equipment as it's where the porta-potty will reside overnight....say not more! A not-so-long drive back as took the motorway and crossed to Bath via Chew Valley.

     Home at last to a pleasant meal, a glass of wine and a beautiful sunset..

Tomorrow will hopefully be more leisurely.....
