The shops, where we did not not tarry...
Fortunately, Su had made some smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches which we stored in the van's fridge along with cream and milk to go in the tea and coffee which we brewed up on the van's stove. So the appliances got a good testing out (my brother has just christened us weekend Gypsies - but I feel it might persist beyond that!). So, we tootled around through Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, I carried on learning how to tame the gears, and we found ourselves in Westonbirt where we saw this maple changing colour already
