Shopping, Rain and Migraine

Unsurprisingly, the rain continues - terrible flooding north and south of us but we are OK. Went out shopping - first to Larkhall and then to Dick Willows to buy some logs. The weather is cold enough to get our stove going - roll on our trip to  Symi!
It's a real treasure trove inside Dick Willows with all sorts of interesting things to look at and a good shop as well as the excellent Pepperpot Cafe. Free WiFi as well.
Developed a migraine after lunch - no obvious trigger for it. Took a sumatriptan tablet to get rid of the dancing patterns in my eyes (which worked) and some paracetamol for the headache (not so effective). Took Bella out, hoping my headache would dissipate, which it did partially. Enough for me to appreciate some more freshly emerged flowers.
This one is at the peak of its blooming…
Although we aren't flooded, the water was flowing fast from this stream.
Walked up to Charlcombe churchyard, where Bella dived into the Holy Well and found a series of sticks to chew into matchwood - so she was happy (look at her tail wagging!).
More flowers blooming happily.
The rain had started again in earnest by the time we walked back, so that Solsbury Hill was getting hard to make out.
Some brightly coloured honeysuckle flowers.
This day a year ago, Su went to yoga and posted this picture from our Tuscan holiday - a sculpture against the rolling hills.
