Dawn to Dusk

Awake with the dawn, breaking at the back of the house over Solsbury..
... and lighting up the sky over Charlcombe valley
After a cup of tea, it was time to take Bella out - today we went to the park for the first time in ages. The sun showed off the trees - and the gasometer - beautifully
Back home, the garden had more delights to offer...
I also had the excitement of going out to buy a new steam iron. This was because Sod's Law kicked in as soon as I started to iron some clothes to take to Turkey (on the logic that they come out of the case less creased than they would if they weren't!). Su was busy most of the day combing the Internet for last minute information and offers! As she was so engrossed (:-)!), I took Bella out for her late afternoon walk once it cooled down a bit. A stand of rosebay willow herb caught my eye:-
-as did this roller blind on the edge of the woods - just what you expect to find there!
The light in the woods was beautiful
Probably the last of the year's umbellifers by the golf course
- where Bella found this abandoned golf ball -
which got her undivided attention, while she waited for me to throw it for her - repeatedly!
But the real star of the show was the sky, shown in these two panoramas.
