Up to Horio and round to Harani

After a leisurely breakfast, we caught the new bus up to the Horio - along with a visiting football team, making it a very full bus. Glad to see that the Horio now has a spanking new pharmacy on our way to the Olive Tree.

Saw Tina, but missed Jennine's as the kids were off school because of the General Strike. No sign of striking here apart from that, but Athens was a ferment yesterday.

Tried to catch Neil & Toby but the Symi Dream shop was closed, so we trickled down the KaliStrata, avoiding the droves of Germans from the cruise ship. We saw them earlier disembarking from their pods to visit - talked to a lone visitor in the Olive Tree, who was keen to get away (she'd decided she wasn't yet old enough for the experience!).

Managed a glass of beer in the sun outside the hotel before wandering round to Nos beach to see the pods returning cruisers to the ship, which left about 5 o'clock. Before that the Tilos Sea Star left harbour from its berth by the clock tower next to our hotel, just before the Dodekanese Express sailed off. A busy day in port!

Other pic is from a Harani balcony...

Up to the Sunrise tonight to play sone guitar with George!
