Sunbathing Time

Woke with first light but managed to doze off again, only for the church bells to pierce our slumbers. Not a problem as it was a beautiful morning. Spotted one of these giant wasps (or "sfiga") on our awning.
Got our act together and popped down to the harbour briefly.
Then we tootled off back down to Eftalou once more for a prolonged spell of sunbathing. Saw another in the single-item-of-discarded-clothing series...
We shared a little bay with one other person - this was the view to the left...
And this was the view to our right.
After we had roasted ourselves enough for one session, we again repaired to the local taverna for another very tasty and relaxed lunch.
Made it back down to the beach (which we now had to ourselves) by about 4 pm, and toasted some more, listening to thunder rumbling around the hills behind us. Left the glittering sea for the last time (this trip anyway...)
Came back to our little house and watched the sky darken. There has just been a big crash of thunder, a short light shower and the sun has just come out again.
Tomorrow we leave Molyvos, and head back to Mytilini for the night, before catching a flight to Rhodes on Tuesday morning. We are going to drive down the Eastern side of the island, so will see different scenery when we do.

This day a year ago, Su had resumed her yoga sessions, was spending time on eBay and posting photos of our recent trip to Greece
