Settling back into Symi

Catching up with photos from the last couple of days, this building in Rhodes sits proudly by the harbour.

Great arches.

Lovely brickwork.

The entrance to Mandraki harbour on Rhodes, with stag and deer on columns. A popular fishing spot.

After dinner on the way back to our Rhodes hotel, passed this extravagantly decorated salon.

Yesterday, this was the view as we pulled into Panormitis - the monastery.

Three boats in at once, each disgorging its load of tourists (ourselves included).

Inside the monastery, a startled-looking angel.

The bell tower.

Flying the flag for Greece.

We have an apartment with views one way down to Pedi Bay.

And the other way to the rest of the Horio.

One of our neighbours.

Went down to Yialos last night, Bought some Winnie the Pooh cushions (explanation available on request), had a drink and enjoyed the harbour scene. Met up with Barbara, Richard and the rest of their party to celebrate B & P's 25th wedding anniversary at the Trata taverna. We caught the last bus back up the hill, and popped into the Sunrise for a quick drink that stretched into several hours.... This morning, we are taking our time getting going for some reason! Will start moving about soon, but enjoying not travelling for a little while. It's great to be back on Symi - we already have a social calendar mapped out for the next week!
