We agreed that, comfortable as our holiday house is, we really ought to go and explore a bit further. So, following up the recommendation of the Danish festival bin couple from yesterday, we drove over to Skala Sikaminias. We found a lovely long pebble beach with hardly anybody on it where we spent a very happy hour or two before going into the village itself, where we had a delicious late lunch.
A walk along the tamarisk-lined bay followed before we drove back to Molivos, stopping for photo- opportunities on the way. Just had a supper of the spinakopita washed down with wine, and one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen.
And tomorrow there's more to do! Probably walk up to the castle and have a look over Molivos from there, and maybe check out another beach.
