A Month Nearer to Spring?

Took Bella out for a later walk than usual today - as we walked down the road, I appreciated just how tall this bamboo in a neighbour's back garden had grown.
The sun had gone away again, and the cold wind returned. Didn't dawdle for long to look at Solsbury Hill.
Despite the chill, this hedge is coming into leaf.
Is what is meant by a half-timbered house?  The builders have got this far round this new extension and then just stopped.
This afternoon, we went into Bristol via Kingswood. This pub is making it difficult for people to get in by not indicating where the other doors are located…
An old church just off the main road coming down into Bristol.
Old Market in Bristol, with this quirky shop run by a real character. It's where I bought a bass guitar when I played in a celidh band. It is filled to the rafters with amplifiers, cases and instruments of all types and quality (my bass was pretty low end, but he did buy it back from me afterwards!)
This was our destination - a new month deserves to be marked as an occasion! It was quiet and the dim sum were really fresh - delicious!
Back in Bath, the sun came out - but the wind was no warmer.
This day a year ago, we were down in Bath centre to see a film before joining the tourists to enjoy Abbey Square in the sunshine.
