We had plans to go to Birmingham this weekend but Bella developed some alarming symptoms and we thought she was having a stroke...fortunately it's not the scarey one but heatstroke which is not good for old dogs. We'd noticed she's not good in the heat but this year it's affecting her quite badly. What heat you may ask? Quite. I don't think it's hot but I don't have to wear a thick black fur coat all the time. Vet says her age and pedigree are a factor too plus her medication for her aches and pains. So her ladyship must be kept calm and cool. I shall put Marcus to he task immediately....a large fan and iced water methinks....
On a more cheery note, I was taken out for a rather posh lunch followed by visit to lovely organic garden (Yeo Valley (of yoghurt fame) owners' modest patch!)....
It was extremely gorgeous with some interesting features......
