Rushing to get on holiday
As ever, last minute rush to get all the work needed to be done before we leave for Greece. We are catching the train to Gatwick tomorrow afternoon, plane at unholy hour Wednesday morning, and ferry from Rhodes on Wednesday afternoon. Bring it on :-)!! Blogging will continue from abroad, as we have located a nice restaurant/kafeneion with Wifi close by to where we are staying.
Last night, Su and I went for a very pleasant stroll up and round the big hill on which we live. Some great sights, including this gothic church all lit up in purple - it alternates between purple, red and green, all very striking.
Today, after frantically tapping away at the keyboard for several hours, I took Bella out for a stroll. At first it was so cold and overcast that I thought we would get rained on, but then the skies cleared and it has turned into a warmer, sunnier late afternoon. Nothing like as warm as the early glimpse of potential Summer we had this weekend...
My next blog entry will be from Greece! Su's will probably be from Gatwick.
