It's been a long day..............

...........and I'm feeling a bit weary now as started early with Bella to fetch the fetch the paper and have a good sniff (her not me) ...........but the light was perfect for this photograph.
On the way back we spotted Monty sitting in the window.  A rare sight as he usually spends his time outdoors.

We needed to go into town this morning to do numerous chores and as it was so warm we decided to walk down and catch the bus back.  The advantage of walking is spotting the unexpected....

Spent rest of day in the garden.  We finished laying our little lawns so feeling very proud of ourselves....just need to keep piddling dog off them!  But we're feeling much more benign towards her since finding out that she's a lot older than we thought ....... she's on painkillers for her arthritis which has made her more perky so hopefully we'll have her company for a lot longer yet...........
