... but it's worth it when the sky is blue and clouds are impressive.
Gnomic sign on the path down to the paper shop - what does it mean?!!I've never seen white fuchsias before, so thought they should appear today.
After lunch, Su & I went off to investigate Dick Willow's ("The Home of West Country Cider") - a combination of woodyard, shops and cafe. We were first struck by these characters:-
Really impressive inside were the chocolate brownies at Pepperpot - we decided that they were the best we have ever tasted. We will return!
Inside there were several shops, including this bicycle shop.
After that we took Bella for a walk in Primrose woods in the late afternoon sun.
The setting sun lit up all the trees, and made the dogwood really stand out:-
We sat on a bench to catch the last rays of the sunset.
Tonight we are off out - first to Yum Yum Thai for a meal before seeing "Jack Goes Boating" at the Little Theatre to round off this year's Bath Film Festival. Review tomorrow.
