We've not long been back from Bristol where the only edible Chinese food in the South West of England can be found. We don't go that often and it's been a while since we had DIM SUM! I just love dim sum, particularly paper-wrapped prawns and yam croquettes. Also partial to cheung fung and char sui buns. We tried spare ribs in black bean sauce today. Little morsels of heaven!
Enough! Before all the above I'd been working like a trojan to finish my diy chores as described on my facebook page i.e. painting the front door and some much-needed carpentry blocking in the gap over the sitting/dining room door. Did most of it yesterday but today was filling and priming - the front door just needed a quick rub down and one more coat of paint for luck.
Am particularly proud of this piece of engineering as much thought, two nails and some good shipwright's glue went into it!

Meanwhile Marcus was upstairs cleaning and reorganising the furniture in our bedroom. We needed to move the bed away from party wall as little girls next door now own roller skates (3 of them but one is too small to skate so she just runs up and down instead) and they wake up early (6 ish) and all their floors are bare boards! So the bed is now against the other party wall where a week-old baby entertains her parents every night.....fortunately their house is ultra-insulated so we don't hear a thing.

Didn't like to ask but apparently he was stuffing the bag with his awning!!
Took Bella out briefly in between downpours...this pic shows just one of the reasons we live here (you should be looking at the trees!).
