Westonbirt again!

In this weather we're always having to think where to walk Bella. The short morning one isn't a problem as it's either wandering round the streets or a quick trip to the park. But the long walk can be tricky. We live on a steep hill road surrounded by other steep hills. Add this combination to ice and you can see our problem. We've both got good walking boots and proper sticks but it's really dodgy out there at the moment.
But as long as we can get the car on the road we can usually get to Westonbirt arboretum. It's only a 25 minute drive north of Bath and is a treat any time of year no matter what the weather is doing. Plus there's the cuppa at one of their cafes which acts as a lure especially when the temperature dips like today. So off we went after lunch, whizzed round, iM took this pic as I'd forgotten my camera, and head for above mentioned cafe for extremely welcome hot brew.....I'm partial to an Earl Grey tea while iM goes for their coffee. As it's Christmas season the arboretum puts on a light show in the evenings which is stunning. We went a few years ago and if you live in the UK or are thinking of visiting, put this on your list. I sound like an advert........!
